- Being updated to pipewire for some days and having a sound-working system, yesterday after using my computer for a while I rebooted it and completely lost sound. I tested mplayer and vlc on it, and both started playing, but i got no sound from the speakers. You also get lower latency and support for jack applications, as pipewire and replace both jack and pulse.
